Tom Quinn

Tom Quinn joined the SRC Board of Directors in 2013. He is committed to the vision and mission of the Center to serve the needs of the community and help individuals to age in place in their homes with a high quality of life.

Tom has been a lawyer in private law practice in Wheat Ridge and Lakewood since 1988. From 2000-2008 he taught undergraduate classes as an adjunct instructor of land use planning and environmental policy at Metropolitan State College of Denver (now Metropolitan State University). He served on the City of Lakewood Planning Commission from 1998-2005 and was elected to the Lakewood City Council from Ward 5 in 2007. He co-chairs the City Council Legislative Committee and serves as the Lakewood representative to the Denver Regional Council of Governments and the National League of Cities Transportation and Infrastructure Committee. He also served as Lakewood’s Mayor Pro Tempore in 2009 and Council President in 2011.

Tom is also a member of the American Academy of Forensic Sciences and has presented historical papers on forensic topics from the American Civil War.
