Lori joined SRC as the Executive Director in Evergreen bringing twelve years of non-profit management experience working with diverse populations. Lori was born and raised in Hiawatha, Kansas and has lived in Colorado for the past five years. Lori and her three canine companions are excited to join the Evergreen community.
Lori’s professional experience includes serving as the Executive Director of Mosaic Denver, a non-profit organization providing services to adults with disabilities. Prior to being recruited by Mosaic Denver, Lori served as the Executive Director for United Cerebral Palsy of Arkansas. For eight years Lori was the Director of the Benton County Women’s Shelter and Thrift Store in Northwest Arkansas. Lori’s professional affiliations include serving as a board member for the Children’s Advocacy Center, a board member for the Human Rights Committee of Denver County, as well as a board member for the AR Coalition Against Domestic Violence. Lori has volunteered with Big Brothers Big Sisters, Bella Vista Animal Shelter and Red Cross of Arapahoe County. For the past five months Lori has worked with the Seniors Resource Center in Evergreen overseeing the day program for adults with disabilities.
Lori is excited to provide leadership to SRC and continue the work of ensuring our communities’ senior population as well as our adults with special needs have quality services to participate in and enrich their lives.
