April 2018 – “As the Denver metro area continues its population boom and local governments discuss ways to improve transportation options, the Transportation Solutions Arapahoe County council wants to make sure older residents and people with disabilities don’t get left behind.
The group, a local-coordinating council for the Denver Regional Mobility and Access Council, held a town-hall event April 18 at the South Metro Denver Chamber of Commerce in Centennial.”
The article in the Littleton Independent continued to list various mobility options for older adults and those with developmental disabilities. Seniors’ Resource Center is an on call option, tailored to the needs of older adults, serving Arapahoe, as well as the larger Denver metro area and up into the counties around Evergreen.
